D.S Patil @TIUMUN

On the first day of the MUN I was extremely excited to go to my first ever MUN, but I was also pretty nervous because it was the first time I was going to an in-person MUN event. I had very little knowledge about how MUN’s worked. But the chairs in my committee were extremely helpful and taught us the rules, regulations and proceedings of MUN as many of the members in my committee were doing an MUN for the first time. On the first day, sitting in the massive, beautiful auditorium waiting for the opening ceremony to start I was sitting among strangers talking only to people from our school but just three days of taking bonding and solving problems turned our committee into a tight-knit family with all of our inside jokes and our own country named “the Republic of Beans”.
