Bus Service

Safety Rules for School Bus Users

Students who use the school bus are required to wear a seat belt at all times to ensure their safety during travel. UIA places a strong emphasis on maintaining a safe, comfortable, and well-supervised transportation environment for all students.

Our bus service is operated with clear safety guidelines, regular vehicle checks, and attentive supervision to support student well-being throughout their journey to and from school.

Rules for boarding the bus

The student should be at the bus stop 5 minutes prior to the arrival of the bus.
The parents should be present during the pick-up and drop off time.
Wait at your designated stop in a safe place, back from the side of the road.
If you need to cross the street to get on the bus, always wait until the bus has come to a complete stop. Parents should be present at this time.

Rules for riding the bus

Take your seat promptly and sit properly, facing forward at all times.
Place bags and parcels under your seat or on your lap.
Keep the aisle of the bus clear at all times.
Always keep your head, hands and arms inside the bus.
Throwing objects inside or outside of the bus is not permitted.
Talk quietly; the driver needs to concentrate to safely drive the bus.
Fighting, shouting, or use of obscene language is not permitted.
Dangerous, disturbing, or annoying objects are not permitted on the bus.
Eating and drinking (this includes chewing gum) is not allowed on school buses at any time. This rule protects students or drivers that have food allergies and anaphylaxis, prevents choking, and maintains bus cleanliness.

Safety rules for leaving the bus

Remain in the seat until the bus comes to a complete stop.
When you leave the bus, hold the handrail and take two
If everyone is getting off the bus, the people at the front leave first. Do not push.
If you drop something near the bus, do not pick it up. Tell to the assistant teacher.
Parents should be present when the students get off the bus.

The new system offers live video feeds, allowing the school to monitor student activities inside the bus. This not only reinforces safety but also provides valuable insights into the student experience during transit as well as reinforces attendance (on and off) on the buses.

3. Real-time Location Tracking:

The state-of-the-art system not only monitors activities inside the bus but also provides real-time location tracking. Using this system the school can better monitor where buses are located especially if there has been a delay.
