On June 16-18, fourteen UIA students participated in Tokyo International University Model United Nations. Although they were competing against older university students from around Japan, they brought home the top prize: Best Delegation. 

Each student who won an individual award earned points for the team. Here’s who won: 

Devika won Verbal Commendation in UNEP representing China (1 point)

Reyan won Best Delegate in ECOSOC representing South Korea (4 points)

Tuhina won Best Delegate in UNEP representing Sweden (4 points)

Sara won Honorable Mention in UNEP (2 points) and Best Position Paper (1 point) representing Pakistan

Hinano won Verbal Commendation (1 point) and Best Position Paper (1 point) in ECOSOC representing Japan

Revanth won Honorable Mention in NATO representing Bulgaria (2 points)

Nayuni won Honorable Mention in NATO representing the USA (2 points)
